A Yankee's Salute to IPF
Hats off to former Yankees All-Star and Latin Grammy nominated musician, Bernie Williams, for spreading awareness about the dangerous advanced restrictive lung disease, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), which claimed the life of his father. Alarmingly, up to 132,000 Americans suffer from IPF and ~40,000 die from it annually (as many as breast cancer).
